Mailroom Assistant® Merging Station combines manually sorted and automatically sorted mail items in one fully sequenced flow.
Merging Station software retrieves the mail sequence data from OCR (Optical Character Recognition) driven manual sorting and from automatic sorting machine. Based on this data the software assists the operator to merge the mail flows together.
Merging station has simple and intuitive user interface and includes software for controlling the merging process and management of sorting and sequencing modes.
The station consists of a PC workstation and a touch screen. Station is also equipped with an ergonomically shaped desk and integrated trays and holders to keep shipments in ergonomic position during the merging process.
